Ojavi (“we”, “us”) makes an Ayurveda companion app and this website at getojavi.com. We care about your privacy and collect as little personal information as we can. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
The short version: the website works without an account and uses privacy-friendly, anonymous analytics. We only receive personal details (like your email) if you choose to send them — for example, by emailing your quiz result or using the contact form. We never sell your data.
Information we collect
When you use this website
- Anonymous usage data. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand which pages are popular and how the site performs. These are designed to be privacy-friendly and do not use tracking cookies or build a profile of you.
- Your dosha quiz answers. The dosha quiz runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us unless you choose to email your result.
- Email (only if you ask for your result). If you use “Email me my dosha result”, we send your email address and result to our email-delivery service so we can send it to you and, occasionally, helpful follow-ups about Ojavi.
- Contact messages. If you use the contact form, your name, email and message are sent to us (via Web3Forms) so we can reply.
- A consent choice. Your cookie-banner choice is stored locally in your browser so we don’t ask again.
When you use the Ojavi app
- Account details. To save your assessments and sync them across your devices, the app uses an account (such as an email-based sign-in). Your sign-in token is stored securely on your device.
- Your assessments and logs. Results from your Prakriti, Vikriti, Agni and other assessments, plus check-ins you record, are saved to your account so your history is there when you return.
- The app does not require access to contacts, photos or location to work.
How we use your information
- To provide the website and app and keep them working well.
- To send you the quiz result or reply you asked for.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
- To occasionally tell you about Ojavi if you shared your email — you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only with the service providers that help us run Ojavi:

Some outbound links to recommended books or tools may be affiliate links; if you buy through them we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. These links do not share your personal information with us.
Cookies & tracking
We aim to keep this site close to cookie-free. Our analytics are cookieless by design, and the only thing we store in your browser is your cookie-banner choice. We do not run advertising trackers.
Data retention
We keep contact messages and quiz-email records only as long as needed to respond and for our records, then remove them. App account data is kept while your account is active; delete your account to remove it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and to opt out of marketing emails. To exercise any of these, just contact us and we’ll help.
Children
Ojavi is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ayurvedic guidance in Ojavi is for general wellness and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.
International users
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. We take care to use reputable providers with appropriate safeguards.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll revise the “last updated” date above, and significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
