The four types of fire
Samagni
Balanced fire — steady, comfortable, complete digestion.
Vishamagni
Variable fire — irregular, gassy, bloated (Vata).
Tikshnagni
Sharp fire — intense hunger, acidity, burning (Pitta).
Mandagni
Slow fire — sluggish, heavy, congested digestion (Kapha).
